Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods throughout Fresno County
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during nighttime operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Fresno area
