Responsibilities
- Transportation: Safely collect and transport medical specimens, lab results, and medical equipment to designated clinics, hospitals, and labs within the Seattle area.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
- Documentation: Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile applications to log deliveries accurately in real-time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, professional appearance for the company vehicle and perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with medical staff and patients, ensuring a positive and courteous experience.
- Timeliness: Deliver items within strict time windows to ensure laboratory results are processed correctly.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Technology: Reliable smartphone (Android or iOS) capable of downloading applications.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate various terrains, including stairs and elevators.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
