Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit Document all deliveries using electronic tracking systems and maintain chain-of-custody logsCoordinate with medical staff for time-sensitive pickups and deliveriesPerform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of transport unitsAdhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain patient confidentialityOptimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals across San Joaquin County
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 points in 3 years) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely navigate medical facilitiesExperience with temperature-controlled transport preferredStrong time management and organizational skillsProficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technologyAbility to pass background check and drug screeningBasic medical terminology knowledge or willingness to learnReliable transportation to/from depot location
