Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in and around the Boston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and lifting equipment, ensuring cargo safety.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) daily.
- Interact professionally with clients, handle cash/card payments, and obtain signatures.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and mapping tools to optimize delivery routes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a multi-stop route schedule.
- Basic computer skills for handheld scanning devices.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
