Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Omaha metro area.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle before and after routes.
- Obtain digital signatures and proof of delivery from customers upon arrival.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Handle customer inquiries with a professional, friendly, and patient demeanor.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delivery issues immediately to dispatch.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or standard state driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly and reach overhead.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory management.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for GPS navigation and logging.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
