Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely manner.
- Verify contents of packages and ensure accurate delivery by checking addresses.
- Practice safe driving habits and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing friendly and helpful service.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately and maintain receipts.
- Manage time efficiently to meet daily delivery targets and schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class 3 or Commercial Class A/B is a plus).
- A clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
