Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers throughout the Boston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring items are secure and not damaged during transit.
- Practice excellent customer service by interacting professionally and politely with clients at each delivery stop.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery process.
- Manage delivery paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Familiarity with the Boston area streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns is a significant plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
