Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses throughout Houston, TX, in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Inspect delivery vehicles daily to ensure they are clean, fueled, and in safe working condition.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for all shipments.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling inquiries and complaints with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery records using handheld devices.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages from the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and change.
- Reliable smartphone access for navigation and delivery apps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
