As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely local deliveries to residential and commercial customers within the Houston metro area.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure product integrity and prevent damage.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure multiple stops are completed daily.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional appearance.
