Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles for local routes in Washington, DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using provided digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address client inquiries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class C or above) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC streets and surrounding metropolitan area
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps and digital tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by company policy
