Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes within the Lincoln metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for receipt of goods.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both in uniform and vehicle.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or holidays if required.
