Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods throughout Bakersfield using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain digital signatures
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app in real-time
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years driving history)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Smartphone proficiency with navigation apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for package verification
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Resident of Bakersfield or surrounding areas
