Job Description
Welcome to the future. Chronos Future Tech is at the forefront of the 2026 revolution, building the computational backbone for a post-silicon world. We are seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Architect to design the infrastructure that will power the next decade of digital evolution. You won't just be coding; you will be defining the architecture of time itself. Join us in San Francisco to shape the quantum era.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the implementation of scalable quantum-resistant distributed systems for the 2026 global network.
- Define the technical roadmap for the transition from classical to quantum computing environments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of physicists, AI researchers, and software engineers to integrate quantum algorithms into production.
- Ensure system integrity, security, and performance optimization for high-frequency quantum transactions.
- Establish best practices and coding standards for quantum software development (Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent).
- Oversee the deployment of next-generation cryptography and post-quantum encryption protocols.
- Mentor a team of brilliant engineers and drive technical innovation across the organization.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Deep expertise in quantum programming frameworks and simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil, or IBM Quantum Experience).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex digital transformations.
- Strong understanding of classical and quantum algorithms, including Grover's and Shor's algorithms.
- Familiarity with post-quantum cryptography standards and NIST recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
