Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology and route optimization
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Must have own DOT-compliant safety gear (vest, gloves, etc.)
