Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery across Louisville metro and Georgia routes
- Execute efficient loading/unloading with proper cargo securing protocols
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Passive DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Louisville/Ga geography and interstate systems
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 8 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
