Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul freight delivery
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch teams
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as per DOT requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with logistics teams for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience (or graduate from accredited CDL school)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
