Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all deliveries and mileage
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading and delivery processes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (Class A or B preferred, but not required)
- Willingness to obtain CDL through our paid training program
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load balancing
- Strong time management and reliability
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to climb into/out of truck and secure loads
