Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Resolve on-road issues proactively (weather, delays, route changes)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment & random)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area highways
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak seasons
