Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with site foremen for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform minor maintenance tasks (fluid checks, tire pressure)
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to climb in/out of cab and handle heavy materials
- Familiarity with Boston area routes and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
