Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Timely delivery of freight across Virginia and surrounding states
- Pre-trip inspections and meticulous maintenance documentation
- Real-time communication with dispatch for route optimization
- Strict adherence to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Customer service excellence at delivery points
- Efficient loading/unloading coordination at facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Passable DOT physical and drug screen
- Familiarity with Virginia regional corridors
- EOBR/GPS system proficiency
- Hazardous materials endorsement preferred
- Ability to handle irregular schedules and overnight trips
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
