Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations within Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles area.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain digital signatures, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with clients, demonstrating a high level of customer service.
- Use mobile applications to update delivery status and route details in real-time.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (local delivery experience is a plus).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable personal vehicle (if not provided by the company) in good mechanical condition.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
