Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck (24-26ft) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Manage loading/unloading operations with provided warehouse staff
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery using GPS navigation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Own/lease a 24-26ft box truck in excellent condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data connection
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Drug-free and able to pass background check
