Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages, food, or goods to designated locations within St. Louis metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for high-value shipments
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and punctuality
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure operational safety and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience in local delivery, logistics, or transportation
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis streets and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening
