Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across the Mid-South region using company-provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation (ELD compliance)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and on-time delivery
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsements
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in continuous training programs for safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background checks
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred but not required
- Strong time management and communication skills
