Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight on dedicated routes between Washington, DC and key regional hubs
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment
- Utilize advanced GPS and telematics systems for route optimization
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Complete accurate documentation including logs, bills of lading, and delivery reports
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington, DC metro area traffic patterns
