Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck (24-26 ft) for regional freight deliveries
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jack, hand truck)
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Minimum 2 years owner operator experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Smartphone with reliable internet connectivity
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Dot-compliant insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Willingness to serve Nebraska/Iowa corridor
