Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently across Albuquerque and surrounding regions
- Maintain detailed electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized route planning and time-sensitive deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional communication and on-time performance
- Manage inventory handling protocols for temperature-sensitive or high-value cargo
- Utilize provided telematics for real-time tracking and performance analytics
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years commercial experience)
- Owned/leased box truck (26' or larger) with current DOT inspection
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and regional highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route optimization apps
- Drug-free certification and willingness to pass random screenings
