Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently from the delivery van.
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize handheld devices (PDAs) to scan packages, verify addresses, and manage delivery logs.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Handle cash or card payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) packages when applicable.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols during every route.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in English (read, write, and speak).
- Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the facility.
