Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the company's 2026 strategic vision across product, market, and technology domains
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and sociocultural shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year futures across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Partner with R&D to prioritize future-focused R&D investments and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish cross-functional 'Future Councils' to embed foresight into organizational DNA
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex interdependencies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Experience leading cross-geographic teams and executive stakeholder management
- Published author or recognized authority in future technology trends
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
