You'll influence product development, market positioning, and long-term corporate vision while staying at the forefront of exponential technologies like quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends, market disruptions, and sociocultural shifts to forecast 5-10 year industry landscapes
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and implementation priorities
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough technologies and validate future market viability
- Deliver executive-level insights through white papers, trend reports, and strategic presentations
- Establish KPIs to track future-readiness metrics and innovation ROI across the organization
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven future-planning impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, interconnected future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism, tech ethics, or disruptive innovation
- Experience facilitating C-level strategy sessions and translating foresight into executable plans
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
