Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, and economic domains to identify 2026+ disruptive opportunities
- Develop and maintain multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational strategic objectives
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and product development teams
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development and market entry strategies
- Build and manage a proprietary ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline maturity and market impact
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years applying foresight methodologies in corporate or startup environments
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful commercial innovations
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and futures mapping techniques
