Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Design and execute innovation pilots for future-facing technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities within the organization
- Represent company at global tech foresight conferences and summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published author or recognized speaker in tech foresight circles
- Experience with Delphi method and other forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating future-concept implementation success
