- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities.
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure $50M+ innovation budget and drive strategic partnerships.
- Present quarterly tech roadmaps to investors and board members with 3-year predictive analytics.
- Mentor a 15-person innovation lab and foster a culture of radical experimentation.
- Ensure all initiatives comply with evolving ethical AI and data sovereignty regulations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech).
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue impact.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.
- Expertise in predictive modeling for tech adoption and market disruption scenarios.
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier-1 journals.
- Experience securing federal/state grants for futuristic research initiatives.
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or equivalent).
