Responsibilities

- Conduct competitive analysis of next-gen technologies including AGI frameworks and bio-digital convergence
- Collaborate with patent teams to secure intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI development and sustainable tech practices
- Oversee pilot programs for prototype technologies with Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI ethics or quantum applications
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, emerging AI governance)
- Proficiency in technology assessment frameworks (e.g., TRL, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing global research teams
