Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026+
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives and resource allocation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify strategic acquisition targets
- Develop scenarios for technological disruption and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven experience with technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Track record of implementing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CIMS) a plus
