Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for 2026+ market readiness
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating cutting-edge innovations into core business operations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-forward solutions and validate market viability
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory impact on innovation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic systems)
- Proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem preferred
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management highly desirable
