Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech fusion) to identify opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and customer needs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and validate future product concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Monitor competitor landscapes and regulatory shifts impacting future tech adoption
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on technology forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 5+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating past technology strategy implementations
- Professional certification in Futures Studies or Technology Innovation (preferred)
- Knowledge of US tech policy and regulatory landscape
