Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with quantifiable impact metrics
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and product managers
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-driven forecasts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI ethics, biotech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
