Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and customer needs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, product, and leadership teams on future tech priorities
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and tech pioneers
- Define KPIs to measure the impact of technology adoption on business growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership within tech or Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business preferred
- Experience developing long-term (5+ year) technology roadmaps
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CTO, Foresight Practitioner)
