Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate tech capabilities into product opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and venture capital networks
- Present tech foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage prototyping sprints for disruptive technologies in our innovation lab
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption post-2026
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in emerging tech evaluation (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Published research on technology adoption curves or disruption patterns
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
