Responsibilities
- Design and document next-generation system architectures using cutting-edge frameworks and methodologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and integration opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for system evolution aligned with 2026+ technological trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to architect solutions for complex, undefined future challenges
- Create predictive models for system scalability, security, and performance in dynamic environments
- Mentor engineering teams in future-proof development practices and architectural principles
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate novel system concepts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise architecture with 5+ years in future-focused or strategic planning roles
- Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure) and distributed systems
- Proven experience with AI/ML integration and quantum computing readiness planning
- Certification in TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework
- Demonstrated success in designing systems for 5-10 year technological horizons
- Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks and zero-trust architecture
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
