Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for safe transit.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients by adhering to delivery schedules and professional conduct.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including seatbelt usage and avoiding distracted driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Tanker/Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements.
