Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, gravel, sand, and debris to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with foremen and project managers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of local traffic laws and construction site safety
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Excellent time management and communication skills
