Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, aggregates, and debris
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules for on-time project completion
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews for seamless operations
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Document delivery reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction or logistics
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Nevada traffic laws and industrial safety standards
- Physical ability to operate heavy equipment in varying weather conditions
- Must possess or obtain HAZMAT endorsement within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
