Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses across Louisville metro area
- Load/unload vehicles with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Louisville streets and metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
