Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured and handled with care.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including proper handling of packages and professional communication.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery time windows and maintain high on-time rates.
- Update delivery status and log activities using the company’s mobile application.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state license required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT) if required for vehicle type.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
