Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Charlotte metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- High school diploma or equivalent required
