Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Jacksonville
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize time efficiency
- Load/unload packages with care, ensuring zero damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Customer service-focused with professional communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
