Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks) to transport packages and materials on scheduled routes
- Verify delivery accuracy through scanning systems and maintain detailed delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle returns/adjustments professionally
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class B/C) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in commercial/transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills with proficiency in GPS technology
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
