Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes in Washington and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery timelines and resolve route challenges
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
- Represent Pacific Northwest Logistics with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass required background checks
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Washington state traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in physically demanding conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
